Bobby and Claire’s story kicked off on Hinge, while Bobby was visiting family in Arizona. Some people bond over candlelit dinners—these two bonded over thermostat settings (yes, really) and sports. Within days, texts turned into FaceTimes, FaceTimes turned into all-night phone calls, and by the time Bobby came home for their first date, it felt like they’d already known each other forever.

From the start, they brought each other into their worlds: Bobby introduced Claire to his softball obsession (she’s now seen more softball games than she ever thought possible), and Claire introduced Bobby to her Taylor Swift obsession (he’s now a very reluctant but knowledgeable Swiftie). Their first summer together was a blur of adventures—Claire’s first MLB game at Oracle Park, weekend getaways, and even a trip to Mexico.

just a few weeks into dating, life shifted when Claire’s dad passed away unexpectedly. Bobby never got to meet him, but he showed up for Claire and her family with love, laughter, and endless support—proving early on that he was the kind of partner you could lean on in any storm.

Since then, the adventures have only grown. They moved in together and—because timing is everything—adopted Burney, their 75-pound “teddy bear,” just a few days later.
